Traditions and symbols of “the old Canada”—you know, the one that Canadian families built—are stupid to liberals. Liberals loathe Canada and the Judeo-Christian values upon which it was built, and seek to change it—mold it—right from its very foundational roots (traditional families) upward, to adapt it to their kind of Canada. A post-modern “progressive” Canada. A crusade or mission which, in this case, apparently requires it to make a pro-gay joke of one of our other most noble institutions.
Of course as I indicated earlier, the state-run CBC reports that nobody along the parade route seemed bothered by anything they saw. So, you know, shut my mouth. That’s that.
But then I hardly think the liberals’ “progressive” mission has been accomplished and is officially now over. I don’t think it ever really ends, does it? Next year or the year after, the gay RCMP members might be wearing a fake penis like the one shown here, perhaps one coming out their fly emulating a giant erection to entice the children, and one going up their butt to demonstrate how to really progress life itself in post-modern Canada.
I wonder if the gay pride marchers or organizers of Toronto’s gay pride parade got permission from the RCMP to display the noble uniform of our national police in quite this way. They certainly didn’t ask me.
