Afterthought….
Conservative Foreign Affairs Minister Maxime Bernier’s “blunder” (CTV) or “bungle” (CBC) was to openly ask this with regard to the Kandahar province Governor Asadullah Khalid:
“Is it the right person at the right place at the right time?”
Hearing that, President Karzai might have then asked himself that very question, only directed at Mr. Bernier instead. And the answer to both questions is probably “no”.
Prime Minister Harper should set an example to President Hamid Karzai and shuffle Maxime Bernier into another post.
