Bare-Ass Bob Rae says “I’ll kiss anyone who comes forward”; compares PM Harper to military dictator

imageJUST IN!    During a crucial media scrum (being broadcast to the nation via the state-owned news media on the journalistic basis of his being a Liberal, for I can think of utterly no other reason), Liberal MP Bare-Ass Bob Rae was asked by an intrepid investigative journalist about politicians kissing babies and such during an election in the face of the swine flu outbreak.

Bare-Ass Bob Rae’s liberal response:  “I’ll kiss anyone who comes forward…”

Bob_Rae_kisses_Stephane_Dion This should serves as adequate warning to not approach Bare-Ass Bob Rae.  Ever. For example like Liberal Frenchman Stephane Dion did once.

He also said “we’re not a banana republic”.  In light of the Liberal and NDP and other socialists’ strained efforts to prove otherwise, once and for all, with their incessant election threats and efforts to destabilize Canada politically, that’s clearly a debatable point at best.  But at least his own banana was securely in his pants at the time.

THEN HE SAID…
Referring to Prime Minister Harper:  “He’s not a Generalissimo yet. He has to get used to living in a constitutional democracy.  He can put his medals and his cap aside…”.

Well that’s rather derogatory don’t you think, Mr. Bare-Ass Banana Bob?  How about calling him “Hitler” too?  Or a “Nazi”.

Libyan Colonel Muammar QaddafiAccording to Wikipedia, calling someone “Generalissimo” is used to refer to a military officer who has obtained political power by a military coup, or in some cases one who has suspended pre-existing constitutional mechanisms in order to retain power by means of a military hierarchy.  Clearly, then, Rae is comparing Prime Minister Harper to a military dictator like, say, Liberal Party hero Fidel Castro of Cuba.  Huh.  So it’s a good thing then?  Me confused!

Apparently Rae is being quite the loose cannon and un-Liberal personal-attacky rogue, because he’s not abiding by the angelic Liberal credo (as per instruction from Dear Leader Michael Ignatieff) of not engaging in personal attacks and not insulting opponents and not calling them names and not playing politics like schoolyard children or Conservative Party attack ads.  Not.

Here’s the transcript of Liberal Bob Rae’s personally insulting remarks about Prime Minister Harper broadcast live across the nation today:

REPORTER: Mr. Harper is scheduled to meet with President Obama on Sept 16 …  what [impact] you think what’s happening in the House could have on the meeting between Mr. Harper and Mr. Obama [or something like that—(largely convoluted and inaudible)]?

LIBERAL BOB RAE: …Life goes on!  … I don’t see this as uh I mean there may or may not be an election.  If there’s an election Mr. Harper’s still the Prime Minister until he’s defeated!  And he meets with people and he goes to the G-20 and he does his job.  That’s his responsibility as Prime Minister of Canada.  You see there’s an effort here on the part of the Conservatives to create an atmosphere of total kind of instability and to say that ya know, this is all very bad for the world.  Well you know, we’re not a banana republic we have we have votes, we have uh uh uh ya know, Mr. Harper’s not a Generalissimo yet.  He has to get used to living in a constitutional democracy!  And so you know he can put his medals and his cap aside and come to work every day with the rest of us!

And by the way, Canada is actually described as a federal parliamentary democracy and constitutional monarchy, not a “constitutional democracy”, banana brain.
