It’s just possible that people are turning off the liberal media because they are starting to realize they’re being had — faked-out — by left-wing agenda drivers posing as earnest, objective, fair, and balanced purveyors of truth.  I think that partially explains why the state-owned CBC is in the ditch and privately-owned Canadian liberal-left media is tanking.

Meanwhile, FOX NEWS CHANNEL, the news channel Obama and all liberal-leftists claim is biased against liberals and is unfair on the basis that Fox News Channel openly tolerates and welcomes conservative views against the usual phalanx of liberal-left views (and so I see the liberals’ point about it being unfair to liberals because clearly liberals often look foolish and can’t measure-up when confronted by arguments and truth from conservatives), is doing gang-buster business and is securely number one in the cable news ratings.  And by the way “gang-buster” is an oh-so appropriate adjective.

New All-Time Lows for Both CBS & ABC Evening Newscasts

Breaking: TVNewser has learned the CBS Evening News has once again set an all-time low last week with 4.89 million Total Viewers and 1.42 million A25-54 viewers. But it was also the lowest (since records began in the 1991-‘92 season) for ABC’s World News with Charles Gibson. The Gibson program drew 6.42 million Total Viewers and 1.77 million A25-54 viewers.

Both CBS’s Katie Couric and ABC’s Charlie Gibson were off last week.

More details to come…

image CBC – CANADIAN – FAILURE UPDATE
In the latest (June 8-14, 2009) Canadian TV ratings, the state-owned CBC almost completely fails to make it in even the Top 30  in Canada with any of its shows except of course hockey, which the state has a monopoly on in Canada.  The CBC’s so-called “news” program (“The National”) ranks at number 30 — dead last — of all shows in Canada, but often doesn’t even make it that high up.  CTV and Global News both rank much higher.  Appropriately, a show called “Mental” (a Fox Network show shown on Global in Canada) is just ahead of the CBC news show at number 29.  “The Simpsons” ranked number 19, well ahead of “The National”, possibly on the basis that it’s more truthful and realistic.
