Why I can relate to Sarah Palin, reason number 24, aside from her being a true blue conservative with values that match mine in almost every conceivable way:
When I mow the lawn in my sandals, which I do in order to freak out my wife (and to purposely go against everything I learned about safety from the National Government Safety Council and Nanny-State of All Get Out’s Official Board of Governanceness), my toes turn green and stay that way for about three days.
And…
…When a photographer prepared to take pictures of the interview, Mrs. Palin, wearing open-toed shoes, said laughingly, “Don’t get my toes in the picture — they are green on the bottom.”
Indeed they were. She said the marks were grass stains from mowing her lawn the previous day.
