I’ve been doing some house-cleaning.
I added an item to my list of “Worst Canadians” (as seen or ignored along the left margin of these pages). I’m actually going to expand this Worst Canadians concept to a whole new section as soon as I can get around to it, since there are so many bad Canadians to choose from. For now, I’ve got my original selection, the CBC fanboys (whom the ingenious and oh so outraged Conservative Party soldiers Geoff Norquay and Peter MacKay totally ignore):
• An apparently typical state-owned CBC fan, on news of the death of a Canadian soldier in Afghanistan:
“THIS IS WHAT YOU DESERVE”

And I’ve just added:
• As taxpayers bail out the auto companies in Canada, the head of the auto workers’ union in Canada, Ken Lewenza, blames Canada’s “right wing” (that’s me) and “corporate agenda” (arguably also me) for the global financial collapse, in what I call (A) an outright lie, (B) yet another declaration of class warfare in Canada by the extreme left, and (C) overall abject stupidity. He also (D) sounds like a communist. Reference.
