As usual, no new government mandates or policies or rules or regulations, nor especially any of your increased “carbon taxes” (and “early learning” —wink!) levied against our citizens or already struggling industry are required, thank you Monsieur Dion. Citizens and their citizen-owned companies here and abroad are way, way ahead of you and your cabal of liberal-left pinhead elites. As usual.
Monsieur Dion, nobody responds to consumer needs and wants faster than free-market free enterprise. The evidence is all around us. Please pay more attention in future.
OK, let’s just face it: I know you already knew all that but you want to enact new government mandates and policies and rules and regulations, and especially your increased “carbon taxes” (and “early learning” —wink!) against our citizens and industry anyway, but this is not good policy. This is socialism and a pathological need to exert state power over people. And it will ultimately slow progress, as usual, as has been proven, over and over again. As you know.
Well anyway, Monsieur Dion (or should I call you the “Green Guru”—or Monsieur Vert Guru?), here’s the new Honda Clarity (think “Clarity Act” if it helps!), already being built (in Japan, rather than Ontario, but I know that doesn’t necessarily bother you because you own/owned a Japanese-made Subaru Forrester SUV) and is set to be made available to select California residents as early as this summer (in test mode), then more fully available next summer. It’s a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, meaning emissions are… water vapor and nothing but water vapor. (Somebody please try to revive Al Gore. He’s attached to The Great Obama’s leg.)
Toyota, GM, Chrysler, Ford, and others are also coming out with similar new technologies, as are folks from your own country, France, at the Citroen and Peugeot plants over there in the “home country”.
So I suggest you make your latest tax-raising (et al) announcements on the state-owned CBC division, since hardly anybody will see it and you won’t suffer as much embarrassment or poll-related anguish.
Yours truly,
Joel Johannesen
P.S. I’m sorry this is in English. Je m’excuse.
