New poll shows Conservative leader once again trouncing the other “leaders”.

When is the media going to start badgering the you’ve got to be kidding party’s Jack Layton about his oft-repeated contention of stupidity (at taxpayer expense), which goes something like: Mr. Harper and his neo-cons in the George Bush-like Conservative Party are heading in the wrong direction for Canadians!  ‘N people just hate him ‘n stuff!

Here’s the latest (released last night but still not picked up but any media—shocka!) CPAC-Nanos Poll by Nik Nanos (not a conservative or Conservative Party suckup by any stretch), and his Nanos Research.  Until convinced otherwise, I believe his polls are the most reliable polls in the country.  This is the latest in several polls all showing much the same thing.  Why doesn’t the media throw these poll in the faces of the leftard parties?  Gee I wonder why.

Question: As you may know, [ROTATE] Stephane Dion is the leader of the federal Liberal Party, Stephen Harper is the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Jack Layton is the leader of the federal NDP, Gilles Duceppe is the leader of the Bloc Quebecois and Elizabeth May is the leader of the federal Green Party. Which of the federal leaders would you best describe as:

The numbers in parenthesis denotes the change from the previous Nanos Research survey completed in February 2008 (90 day change).

The most trustworthy leader
Stephen Harper 31 (+1)
Stephane Dion 14 (NC)
Jack Layton 14 (-7)
Elizabeth May 5 (-3)
Gilles Duceppe 4 (-2)

None of them/Undecided 32 (+12)

The most competent leader
Stephen Harper 39 (NC)
Stephane Dion 12 (-4)
Jack Layton 11 (-4)
Gilles Duceppe 5 (-1)
Elizabeth May 1 (-2)
UNPROMPTED
None of them/Undecided 32 (+10)

The leader with the best vision for Canada’s future
Stephen Harper 31 (-1)
Stephane Dion 14 (-3)
Jack Layton 14 (-4)
Elizabeth May 4 (-2)
Gilles Duceppe 3 (NC)
UNPROMPTED
None of them/Undecided 35 (+11)

When is the media going to stop fawning over Barack Hussein Obama as The Great and Awesome Mr. Popular, and replace him with stories of how, according to polls like this, Mr. Harper is the real rock star around here.  That’s not me talking—just look at the poll numbers!  He’s anywhere from two to nearly four times more favored on all three poll questions, and yet the media treat Harper as a weird outcast or a pariah.

The real question is, when are Canadians going start questioning the media in this country, which is obviously completely out of touch with the mindset of most Canadians?  When are some Canadians (hi Ontario!) going to stop listening to the liberals’ media and their many pundits and columnists and “reporters” who all keep inventively casting Stephen Harper as a terrible leader—with his “muzzling” of cabinet ministers and other neat-sounding evil deeds —and as one who is ever so terrible in oh so many ways?

We should seriously question the media in this country.  They obviously don’t think like you and me.
