The cover reads “B.C.—World crime superpower.” Under that it says “The province is getting rich as a global hub for gangs, drugs, and dirty money”.
There’s a 5-page online story: “How B.C. became a world crime superpower
—Forget forestry or fishing. B.C.‘s big, multi-billion-dollar growth industry is crime. And business is booming.”
What’s missing from the long, detailed story? The word “liberal” doesn’t come up once.
There’s even a Q & A with the Liberal Premier of BC, Gordon Campbell. For sure they’d mention the party he’s associated with, right? Wrong.
I suspect they leave out the word “liberal” because they don’t want to remind you that BC is and has been led by liberals, Liberals, and outright socialists, forever. And the liberals are weak on crime. Weak on law and order. The media knows it. You know it. They know you know it.
It’s no wonder people vote Liberal or left generally. People look around them and see problems everywhere. But they don’t connect any of it with “liberalism” or what liberals call “progressive”. They don’t know what liberals and liberal-left, secular-“progressive” thinking and liberal-left agendas and ideology and programs and big nanny-state governments bent on creating a nation of government-reliant minions are responsible for.
The lousy liberal media—together with the able help of the liberal-left academia—is to blame for that.
They—the media and academia—know that, and so continue, unabated.
