Private citizens and corporations in Canada are piling on the cash for the south Asian earthquake/tsunami victims. Here’s where we’re donating.
Organizations like World Vision Canada are collecting money from citizens as are the Red Cross and so on, and most banks have set up accounts so that any customer can easily come in and donate.
· The major banks have themselves anted-up $750,000 to help out.
· Bell Canada has put up $175,000.
· Air Canada has donated their aircraft and staff for airlift services.
Those are the ones that caught my eye in the last hour or so but there’s many more companies that are being generous.
