It happened at 12:30 PM PT. As far as I can tell, the state-run CBC doesn’t even remotely have this on their radar and it’s now 1:23 PM PT.
Correction—they managed to eek out a story on their website at “3:16 PM CT”. CT stands for Central Time. That’s 1:16 Pacific Time. But as of 1:28, on the state-run CBC’s “Newsworld” channel, they’re still running their usual blather rather than covering this with their Toronto-based helicopters and minions. Thank God we’re spending a BILLION dollars per year of taxpayer money to run that crack CBC team of informers.
On the local “CBC-West” channel, the state-run media is running a cooking show at this time. If a Conservative burps in Quebec, they’ll be right on it though.
Finally at 1:39 (that’s 3:39 Central!) they have a man not on the scene but in a TV studio, and they’re talking about it. No Torontonians were injured or killed, so like whatever.
