OTTAWA (CP) – They were sputtering with rage last year, disgusted by a lack of ethics, and demanding that MPs who switch political parties face the music in a byelection.But some Conservatives are singing an entirely different tune now that they’re in power. Carol Skelton said just months ago that she was sick to her stomach when Belinda Stronach defected to the Liberals. She even introduced a parliamentary motion to restrict the practice of party-switching, but that motion won’t be back under the Tories.
“That was last year,” Skelton, now the minister of national revenue, said Thursday.
“We talked about it and I decided not to proceed with it. It’s one of those matters that is debatable.”
Many Tories are grumbling privately

By the way, liberals, didja hear that the state-run CBC is putting out videos about teens waxing their balls? Betcha not all men wax their balls! And I betcha not everyone agrees that the state-run media should be presenting these values to our kids. But don’t expose yet another breach of automaton liberal-left thinking!
