YOUR GOVERNMENT AT WORK: And the best-written CTV article in years

It’s your government at work!  Unfortunately it would have been even funnier (or more accurately, more horrid) if it was reported on the state-owned CBC —for that double-whammy effect.  But in this one instance, for some reason, it wasn’t written-up on the state-owned CBC.  Rather it is on one of the news networks they compete against (and fail, miserably), the CTV News web site.  The government-at-work connection here is the state-owned, state-run schools, and their wonderful “teachers”, who we in the sane set know are predominantly the Church of Liberalism’s clerics

Sadly, while the CTV wrote it up in a serious manner apropos the disgusting display in question by the teachers at a public school where teachers teach our kids their version of moral fortitude and ethics and boundaries of human decency, some jackass CTV editor went ahead with his attempt at the funny headline, ‘Winnipeg teachers slapped for pep rally lap dance”.

Two teachers who took part in an eyebrow-raising lap dance at a high school pep rally in Winnipeg last week have been told not to report back to work.

The dance, caught on video by one of the 100 students at the Churchill High School rally, shocked many of the students, who say the teachers went too far.

The two teachers, one a man, the other a woman, were dressed as a cheerleader and a football player. The female teacher is seated on a chair with her legs spread as dance music plays.

The male teacher approaches her between her legs. He then straddles her and gyrates his hips. He bends over, while she slaps his bottom, his hips bouncing to the beat.

They then take it one step further.

While the female teacher throws her head back, the man dips his head down between her legs and simulates oral sex.

Students at the rally, who ranged in age Grade 9 through 12, are heard on the 58-second video hooting and hollering and screaming “Oh my god!” One student sticks her head in front of the camera and says, ‘Now, that’s wrong!”  …

UPDATE:
The female teacher’s name was reported by other news reports as Chrystie Fitchner

UPDATE 2:
FoxNews.com is now on it.  Teachers’ Lap Dance Video Sparks Uproar at Canadian High School.  The CBC is still not on it (9:29 AM PST), but my search turned up this CBC article:  “Royal Winnipeg Porn Orchestra – Smokin’ Cigarettes And Watchin’ Hockey Night In Canada”.

UPDATE 3:
Virtually all the media is on it except the CBC (4:15 PM PST).  Perhaps their crack team of investigative journalists are searching for a “Christian” angle to it so they don’t simply have to report that this occurred at a public, secular-progressive, government school (in juxtaposition to how they always describe a school as “private” or “Christian” when something goes wrong there).
