In our Columnist section, Wendy McElroy expounds on some interesting statistics and resolves that government has no business in our bellies—or folds of fat. And people should be responsible for their own health. I’ll drink to that. It’s called “Super-Sized Statistics”. It’s a little bit Milloy-esque!
Meanwhile Barbara Kay serves up a piece on speaking more than one language, called “In praise of unilingualism”—but it’s not what you think. It’s not about Canada’s (Liberal) enforced languages law which provides an ever-so-natural Liberal Party big-government-induced “bilingual nation”, but rather it’s about her own inability to grasp more than English. I can’t let go of politics but luckily Barbara Kay can and did in this piece—or did she? Check out the Columnist section.
