I’m back at it all day today, which is hard since I was awake most of last night watching the overnight hurricane Katrina coverage on Fox News Channel. So I’m half asleep.
We have a friend who’s moving to Louisiana pretty soon and also, the propsect of literally losing New Orleans’ Bourbon Street and much of the French Quarter and all that history… was unreal. Up to now of course it seems they escaped the worse-case scenario, so that’s a blessing, but my heart goes out to all those people and familes who have lost it all. Imagine being in their shoes.
We have some more vacation time this weekend (making it an extra long, long weekend), then that’s it.
