The far-left, state-owned CBC, for example, reports on this story without ONCE mentioning the word “liberal” or “leftist”. Or “hate”. Or “bigotry”. Or “intolerant”. Or “Jew-hater”. Or better yet, conflating all of them together, as they would do if Helen Thomas weren’t a left-winger. See, she’s simply a “White House reporter”. Really.
Remember: Helen Thomas famously called HERSELF a biased, far-left liberal reporter. ON THE CBC. In a Fox News Channel interview, she described herself as, “as far left as you can go” (she doesn’t get the CBC).
The state-owned CBC/National Post News and Advertising Cooperative reports it similarly. No political labels here. She’s just “normal”. In fact —I bet they hope people will think she’s an old conservative.
Same at the Globe and Mail. Not one mention of the word “liberal”.
Same with most of the other liberal media coverage. No political label on this political reporter/columnist from the mainstream liberal-left media.
