Here’s your daily National Post obsession with Hillary The Magnificent and/or The Great Obama.
This time it’s just a giant picture of their ♥Hillary♥ with some of the gals who will be voting for her, possibly strictly on the basis that she’s a woman, even though they’re not sexists, no no no. Hillary’s a huge hit with the gals, as we know. Just look at how the National Post has fallen for her.
There is no picture of The Great Obama today for some reason. I guess that’s because yesterday’s huge Hillarack photo was of The Great Obama. (The day before it was of both of them—they were actually wax figures, which the Post didn’t seem to realize, but anyway.)
Naturally, there are no gleaming, beaming, happy photos of McCain or Huckabee in today’s edition.
Actually I should point this one out: it’s in the “IDEAS” section. There is this one huge picture of John McCain looking very sheepish —and who wouldn’t look sheepish if the full-page article was entirely devoted to totally deriding you and everything you ever stood for, and includes, in a huge exploded font, the words “Determining how John McCain would act as president has become an exercise in figuring out who he’s misleading and why.” The article is called “Not such straight talk” in case you rushed in to learn something objective about the not-Hillary and not-Obama candidate who is a Republican. It consumes its entire full-page space carefully laying out how John McCain can’t be trusted.
So you can’t say they never devote any space to the Republicans.
For those of you keeping score at home: The damn-near daily “Da Dion” CANADA banner didn’t occur today, but was replaced instead by a giant quote from a “man-made global warming” prize winner who shared the Nobel with their ♥Al Gore♥, and who seems to basically claim that the Harper Conservatives are brainless Neanderthal “deniers” who are at “war with science”. Perhaps he agrees with their ♥Prophet Suzuki♥ that Harper should be jailed for a “man-made global warming”, um, “war” crime.
