The argument will be “settled” when we say it’s settled.

The socialists, liberal-left secularists, left-wing panderers, the mindless politically-correct minions, those who are blindly acquiescent to the liberal-left-promoted tyranny of the minority, those who think nothing of the very most basic foundational roots of our nation, those who would just as soon see the destruction of the Canadian family as we know it, and other leftists, can all whine in unison all they want about wanting the marriage issue, which they created, to “go away”.  I don’t care. I will continue to stand up for what I think is right.

And despite liberals thinking everyone in the room agrees with everything they utter, it seems like millions and millions of Canadians might just think the same way as me, as it turns out.  All you have to do is ask them. And then all they have to do is speak up.

This despite all the liberal-left propaganda oozing out of every Canadian school and university and state-run media, and every liberal-left dominated media network or publication pushing the wrong way, the federally-funded gay advocacy groups pushing the wrong way, and every facet of liberalism in Canada pushing Canadians to accept their version of Canada, which is wrong.

Despite all that.  Canadians agree:  this will be over when we say it’s over.  Not when you tell us it’s over.

Let’s be clear:  Defending traditional marriage isn’t an “extreme” position.  Saying that it is, is.

Most back Tories’ same-sex plan

More than half of Canadian voters back Conservative Leader Stephen Harper’s call for a free Commons vote on same-sex marriage, according to a new Leger Marketing/Sun Media poll.

The poll of 2,013 Canadians conducted Dec. 9-13 found that 55% agreed the issue should be decided by parliamentarians.

Leger Marketing CEO Jean-Marc Leger said the results show that Canadians aren’t ready to put the issue to rest.

[…] Considered a mistake by many pundits, Harper promised in the early days of the Christmas election campaign that a Conservative government would reopen the divisive debate and allow all MPs to vote freely on the issue.

Conservative MP Jason Kenney said yesterday that the new poll proves his leader is in step with Canadians.

“This reflects how the Conservative Party is more in touch with mainstream Canadian thinking and the Liberals are captive to insider political correctness rather than reflecting mainstream majority opinion,” Kenney said.

[…] London MP Pat O’Brien, who left the Liberal Party over the issue and is now travelling the country to drum up support for another vote on the issue, voted against the legislation.

“I don’t care if it’s five or 10% of people who support revisiting this issue … People are very understanding that the vote was unfair and undemocratic and the decision was bad for Canada,” he said.
