Here’s my latest natural gas bill. Note the cost for the gas we used in our house fora month is a paltry $11.77. The carbon tax on that is $15.10.
Not done though. Add the “Clean Energy Levy” of $0.26, and federal sales tax (GST) on all of that (meaning a tax on the other taxes) of $4.05. Cost of gas: $11.77. Taxes: $19.41. Vote liberal.
