Svend Robinson can’t even beat a Liberal, as we speak

image In the liberal-left riding of Vancouver Centre, which has deteriorated greatly since I lived there years ago, local polls indicate that Liberal Hedy Fry is leading the sticky-fingered friend of communists and socialists Svend Robinson of the you’ve got to be kidding party,

as

we

speak

No crosses were found burning as a result of the poll, though, as we speak. The only thing found burning were Liberal Hedy Fry’s pants (and we all know how painful that can be).

Hedy Fry was the Liberal who rose in our Canada’s Parliament, and said to the nation:  “Crosses are burning on lawns as we speak.”  She was referring to crosses on all the “racists’” lawns in “racist” Prince George, British Columbia.  Of course as in the case of many liberal-left’s “facts”, no crosses were ever found burning.  Not before we spoke, not after we spoke, not ever, never.  She made it up, as it turns out—much like the Liberal Party TV and radio ads.  Perhaps a bad dream or a bad trip …. I mean a bad trip to Prince George B.C. of course.

She was also the doctor who while being a Liberal MP bragged about issuing a false drug prescription for someone, knowing it was going to someone else. She was reprimanded by the B.C. College of Physicians and Surgeons for this unethical conduct.  The Liberals kept her on.  The Liberals now want to make it easier for our nations’ kids to get high on drugs by making it easier for them to smoke pot on our streets and back alleys —convinced, somehow, that that will attract the best and brightest to our country.

The you’ve got to be kidding party let Svend Robinson run in this election and they hope he’ll win.  He’s the MP who got caught on camera stealing a shiny ring worth the price of a brand new BMW motorcar, despite his being a far-left fringe socialist who, one would think, would not enjoy the expensive shiny materialistic capitalist bobbles of life, so much.  Nonetheless…

Poll suggests Fry headed for victory in key riding

Svend Robinson’s past troubles with the law are derailing his bid to become MP for Vancouver Centre, a new poll suggests.

Liberal incumbent Hedy Fry, the riding’s MP since 1992, is in the lead in a Mustel Group Poll commissioned by The Province.

Fry had 41 per cent support among decided voters, compared to 33 per cent for New Democrat Robinson and 19 per cent for Tony Fogarassy, the Conservative candidate. Jared Evans of the Green Party had seven per cent; four per cent cited “other” and there were seven per cent undecided. […]

I’ll just add what I wrote before, about this riding:  Nobody mentions the Conservative candidate, I guess because he didn’t steal anything or say anthing radical and extreme and wrong.

Tony Fogarassy practices law at the Vancouver firm of Clark Wilson LLP. His practice includes energy, mining, Aboriginal, environmental, and intellectual property law. Born in Prince Rupert, Tony and his wife Blair Lockhart have lived in Vancouver for 20 years, and have two children.

Tony is very active in his children’s lives, and offers his time coaching their softball and soccer teams. He is active in his community. He has served, or currently serves on the board of directors of various organizations including, The Burgess Shale Geoscience Foundation (protecting a UNESCO world heritage site in Yoho National Park).

In addition to having a degree in Law from UBC, Tony also holds a B.Sc. (Hons, First Class), and a M.Sc. (First Class). He has also earned an LL.M, from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Tony’s professional background has allowed him to work in various communities across Canada and overseas.

And nary an accusation of theft against him or his party.  What a chump, huh?
