Or, say, when the popularity of the Conservative Party rises a further ten percent. That’s staying “firm”.
Otherwise, according to the liberal media, a ten percent rise in something is notably …humongous. A ten percent cut in social programs spending is …draconian. A ten percent budget cut for the state-run media is … disastrous. A ten percent rise in killings by long guns is …huge. HUGE! A ten percent rise in the size of Prime Minister Harper’s belly is …astronomical! And out of control. A ten percent rise in Liberal Party popularity is …fantastic!
And as a public relations exercise, when do reports such as the one about rising support for the terrorist-fighting Afghanistan mission released by liberal-thinking media people? On Friday afternoon or Saturday morning, as this one was.
