It’s snowing in Vancouver.
Most Canadians already know this, but for many of the Americans among us who don’t know there’s a city in Canada that isn’t white but is great nonetheless—it just doesn’t snow in Vancouver very often. Maybe once or twice a year, if that.
Of course it’s not sticking or anything—just falling and melting, and it’s pretty slushy and mixed with rain—but it’s snow!
And the funny thing about Vancouverites: There will be a line-up a mile long at every tire center and garage. People lining up to buy snow tires. People with front-wheel drive cars will be driving around—slowly as anything—with the snowies on the rear. That’s winter in Vancouver.
