Goodale considers bid for Liberal leadership

Published: Friday, March 17, 2006REGINA—Former finance minister Ralph Goodale is thinking about entering the race for the federal Liberal leadership after being asked by friends and party members.
The Regina MP said Friday he’s now reconsidering his earlier decision not to seek the leadership.
“Out of respect for them, and they are people in the party that I respect very much, they’ve asked me to think it through again, so I’m doing that,’’ Goodale said.
