I must be the only one who doesn’t give a flying fig about the media-sponsored Schreiber/Mulroney distraction festival, episode 9,012. All the Canadian media is covering it as if we the people really give a flying fig. Of course the CBC also keeps showing “Little Mosque on the Prairie”, and the real channels only have about three watchable TV shows per week, so they may not be the barometer of what it is that people give a fig about.
I’ve tried to find an image of a flying fig to accentuate and adorn my blog entry about this but I haven’t found one. I did a Google search for “flying fig” and this picture of Democratic Party House Speaker Nancy Pelosi popped up. That’s not right.
It’s quite possible that nobody gives a flying fig about flying figs either, then, which is fun.
