Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke out on Monday about the terrorists’ well-timed attacks in Iraq lately.
“International terrorism has as its goal to prevent the election of President Bush to a second term,” he said. “If they achieve that goal, then that will give international terrorism a new impulse and extra power.”
Interesting.
Despite their differences (Russia opposed the war in Iraq or at least the timing of it), Putin said that he and Bush have cooperated closely in the international war on terror.
Interesting again. Here I thought Kerry was the only one who could do that.
