Here’s a transcript of what a reader saw on CBC TV on Wednesday (Hat tip: Kim, who never explained what in tarnation he was doing watching the overtly left-wing state-run media division of the Liberal Party but we’ll assume he was simply monitoring it for more examples of subversive anti-conservative activity; so thumbsup Kim, way to go, good on yas…).
Rex Murphy has often surprised me with his clarity of thought —surprised me only because of the fact that he’s kooked-up with the state-run media. Clarity of thought — state-run media ….it’s a little incongruous. Murphy may be the best value we’re getting for a BILLION taxpayer dollars per year and counting.

But outside of those extremes, they’ve hit the bottom of the barrel, dug underneath the barrel, and found an even lower place where there are no self-respecting barrels at all.
Once an independent commission has fired almost a full thousand pages talking about kickbacks, false receipts, fraud, rogue bureaucrats, and utter unaccountability, there’s really not much left… unless there are plans to turn the Mint in to a private casino, to unshackle the Liberal Party from those paltry and antique notions of honour, integrity, and the public good.
