Our site’s public discussion forum helps let conservative thought leak out into society unchecked by liberals, 24/7. That’s what makes it rather unique and so despised by liberals. And it’s why everytime I get up from my computer to refill my coffee cup, I chuckle, just a little.
I’ll make a point of highlighting some of the posts and resulting threads of brilliance more often here in the blog section. For example, today, one of our more prolific participants, Exile, is in fine form with his penchant for fisking [definition]. Here’s a sampler from today:

Federal tax auditors to target underground economy
OTTAWA (CP) – Fishermen, natives, waiters and waitresses are the top targets of a renewed effort by the Canada Revenue Agency to catch tax cheats working in Atlantic Canada’s underground economy, a new report indicates.
Hard working waitresses and fishermen are “tax cheats” and need to be whipped for actually working instead of collecting welfare like a good lefty.
A typical waitress has a minimum wage job. She runs around serving thankless customers who bitch and moan all shift long. Some of the kinder clients show appreciation for her efforts by voluntarilly leaving a gratuity which she splits with the cook and the busboy. What an evil, and selfish person! Well fear not, the Liberal branch of “protection” will hunt down these evil doers and slice off their fair share of the meat. After all, we have a brand new bloated budget to pay for and we need some more ads in Quebec!
Then we have this cryptic message:
The heavily-censored review calls on regional officials to step up efforts to recover taxes owed by fishermen “because local offices in the Atlantic region identified the fishing sector as a high-risk sector.”
High risk? As in “let’s get in there and loot these people before the industry collapses?” Sorry, I lent my Liberal to English translator to a friend…
“If somebody is renovating bathrooms, not declaring the income and not paying the GST on it, then they’re undercutting the price.”
????? I don’t know of any waitresses that are also bathroom renovators…..
Besides, what is a socialist government like yourselves doing justifying the most regressive tax in existance in Canada? The GST is a tax on the poor and you know it.
