While most Canadians who watch current events will be all over the Iowa caucuses today in the U.S., liberals and sundry other left-wing nanny-staters north of the border will be fretting over the fact that without any government mandates, laws, regulations, special penalizing taxation, or trans-fats “cap” or trans-fats trading or “offsets”, or constitutional read-ins from the liberals’ Supremes (or COTLER!), or even any finger-wagging from liberals and socialist nannies whatsoever, a private restaurant chain in Canada (well, the Nation of Quebec) has decided—on its own, mind you!—to cut all trans fats from its menu items.

Clearly private enterprise has to be reigned in and regulated before it’s too late! This “free market”, “natural market forces” thing is… an outrage!
