Looks like the server transition went smoothly and everything’s churning and whirring away quite nicely. I’d be tempted to say “Mission Accomplished!” but liberals would take it the wrong way. Especially since I plan to keep this site running “for 100 years”.
The amazing thing is that I don’t have to stick one ‘o them logos somewhere in my work. Yes it’s true—I did all this without a government program, or tax break, or “investment” (—wink!).
Meanwhile, over at the multi-gazillion-dollar taxpayer paid state-owned CBC.ca people’s web site which the benevolent government owns and runs, despite all our cash and all their state-employed minions, their own web site is STILL coughing up (see yesterday’s blog entry). And they have all my money and a hundred employees!
