PTBC columnist Ann Coulter subtly indicates in a round about way she’s not for McCain.

This is one the liberals will like, because it disses a Republican—not a conservative, mind you—but at least a Republican.  (Coincidentally, that also seems to be the John McCain slogan for ‘08: “Not a conservative, but at least a Republican!”  This is not a sure winner, but at least it’s a slogan!)

It also employs that literary device known as “nuance” that the liberals are always on about—inasmuch as we mouth-breather conservatives, well heck, we don’t get the “nuance” in their highfalutin liberal brainytalk.  “Nuance” like when Democratic pseudo-God-like winner winner winner Barack Obama recently called the leader of Canada “the President of Canada”.  (National Post columnist George Jonas missed that when, as I pointed out, he informed us using his best anti-American bigotry and xenophobic-style “nuance”, that “even Americans” won’t vote for Republican Mike Huckabee because one day, he said the word “irregardless”.)

Read our Ann Coulter’s latest weekly column ‘Straight Talk’ Express Takes Scenic Route to Truth.  It begins with “innuendo”:

John McCain is Bob Dole minus the charm, conservatism and youth. Like McCain, pollsters assured us that Dole was the most “electable” Republican. Unlike McCain, Dole didn’t lie all the time while claiming to engage in Straight Talk.

Of course, I might lie constantly too, if I were seeking the Republican presidential nomination after enthusiastically promoting amnesty for illegal aliens, Social Security credit for illegal aliens, criminal trials for terrorists, stem-cell research on human embryos, crackpot global warming legislation and free speech-crushing campaign-finance laws.

I might lie too, if I had opposed the Bush tax cuts, a marriage amendment to the Constitution, waterboarding terrorists and drilling in Alaska.

And I might lie if I had called the ads of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth “dishonest and dishonorable.”
