Just yesterday, as I do every day, I had a pleasant email exchange with someone—who I don’t think is a fan—who said I should change the name of my web site because, she said, it’s a conservative site, and yet it’s called “ProudToBeCanadian”.
After I answered in the negative, explaining that I didn’t find it to be incongruous to be “proud”, “Canadian”, and “conservative”, she wrote back and told me to “leave the internet”.
Normally, in the virulent hate-mail full of swearing and threats and “Halliburton!” and “you’re stupid!” that I receive from liberals, I’m told that I should “leave Canada”. Again: “Leave Canada”. But this may be a new breakthrough! At least I get to stay in Canada!
I just wanted to update you all on the progress we’re making.
And a reminder: Liberals are so tolerant. They’re not bigots. Vote liberal.
