Joel’s home: A British Columbia Polling update:
BC’s more right-ish party, the BC Liberals, are ahead in the polls by a reasonable margin this far ahead of an election (May 17 2005 is the next provincial election). The extreme left, the NDP, which is controlled by labor unions, special interest groups and socialists, is falling.
The most recent Mustel Group poll (taken October 6-17, 2004) indicates that the BC Liberals continue to hold a six percentage point lead over the NDP. If an election were held tomorrow, the BC Liberals would have the support of 45% of decided voters, and the NDP the support of 39% of voters.
