The liberal Prime Minister, in a hideous effort to sound like the real leader south of him, President George Bush, talked “tough” today in indicating that he’ll talk to Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams only if Williams tells the citizens of his province to put the Canadian flag back up. The wranglin’ Prime Minister then followed that with “na na, na-na, na”. Naturally he then translated that into French and it came out as “na na, na-na, na, no?”. I didn’t hear it personally, but someone told me he even said it all with a Texas accent—in both official languages. C’est correct, mon partner!
