Our discussion forums’ cup runneth over

Our discussion forums are literally chock-a-block full of smart conservatives’ thoughts, leaking out all over the dang place, unchecked (to any adequate degree, anyway) by liberals.  It’s like I imagine Heaven to be.

Just as a for instance, I found this post by a prolific forum regular, “Exile”, a Canadian who lives in Chile at the moment.  It’s really a little amazing what he found in his quick daily travels through the media:

Canucks obsessed with the USA?

I constantly see comparisons of one country to another.  In LatAm, Chile prides itself on beating Bolivia in every survey, poll, study, etc. (yah, right.  As if this was a challenge)

Canuckistans feel that comparing themselves to Greenland is beneath them so they tend to target the USA for their sneers of self-imagined superiority.  Am I exaggerating?

Well today’s Edmonton Journal (Alberta for Pete’s sake!) has not one, not two, but THREE comparisons of Canada vs the USA:

Maple Leaf trumps Stars and Stripes for quality of life, Canadians say in survey

OTTAWA – Nearly eight in 10 Canadians think Canada does a superior job of providing its people with a better quality of life than does the United States, according to a survey being released today. By contrast, only half of Americans think the U.S. tops Canada in terms of providing a better quality of life.

Doh, how could Canuckistanians think otherwise when the media propaganda blazes round the clock?

We’re a nation of readers, unlike U.S., study finds

OTTAWA – Canadians are avid readers—and the Internet and television haven’t dampened their ardour for a good read, according to a major new survey released Thursday by the Department of Canadian Heritage.

Gosh!  We’re also so much more educated than those greasy redneck greedy lying warmongering cowboys to the south.

Americans broadly disliked even in Canada, survey shows

WASHINGTON – Canadians are becoming even more negative about the United States and Americans, viewing them as “rude, greedy and violent,” suggests a survey released Thursday by the Pew Research Center.

Yankees are disliked in the world but they love Canadians!

yeeesh.  You think that the EJ is laying it on a little thick?  Or is it that I’m not used to this insane level of self-adoration prevalent in the new liberal Canada?
