Either the CTV.ca web site should get out of the polling business because their polls are useless and misleading and produce “wrong” results, or their pollster of contract, Strategic Council, should, because they are.
CTV and all the media has been gleefully reporting that Canadian support for the Canadian Afghanistan mission is down. But not according to this poll which was conducted earlier this month, on their CTV.ca web site. And by the way, they didn’t report the results of their own web poll, gleefully or otherwise.
So whose poll is useless, CTV? Your own, or the one you bought? (Hat tip: Maureen)

I question the media conducting or commissioning polls in any case. Their job is to report the news and perhaps comment on it—not paying money out to liberal-leaning contractors and selectively create news and then report it and comment on it as they see fit.
