Email exchanges worthy of blogging:
This morning proud conservative reader and great Canadian Hedplug sent me an email about that HORRIBLE! and certainly DISASTEROUS! and most assuredly EMERGENCY! and of course DELIGHTFULLY PANIC-INDUCING! story on CTV.ca.
Hey Joel. How do you think the Liberals or Wacko Jacko and the NDPers would handle this issue? A National Pollutant Registry System? A brief 2 minutes of lip service to doing something about the problem, followed by a decade or two of study, committees, etc. then bringing legislation forward in time for an election?
I got less germs between my toes than the Libs have between their ears.
Oh my God, 13 people tested now is enough of a story basis to paint the whole country with.

Headplug—
Yeah CTV had this story on their 15-minute repeat cycle all day yesterday on Newsnet. I finally switched to the CBC because I got worried about going insane listening to the scare-freak-out-news all day like that. Finally at the CBC I got some good old anti-Bush anti-American Iraq and Afghanistan and we’re all going to hell in a handbasket stuff.
People are living longer every year. It’s the mainstream media that’s dying.

Joel,
If I could find the cartoon link to the NY Times for you I would send it but they had a cartoon that went something like this:
Two cavemen are sitting around the fire and one says to the other that something is wrong. The air is pure, the water clean, we eat only free-range and organic food and yet no one lives beyond age thirty.
Perfect rebuttal to the MSM tripe.
