One of our great Canadian conservative discussion forum and blog participants, “Meadowlark”, sent me this hilarious example of accidental (?) Bush-bashing on TV.
It reminds me of TV news story I saw many years ago about the election in BC, during which the not-so-socialist Social Credit Party was in power. They were covering the “education” angle of the campaign, and the backdrop graphic behind the news anchor was something like this:

Cute! And subtle, no?
Accidental? mmmm I think not.
On June 25/04, during the last federal election, I witnessed a blatant CTV network slight against the Conservatives. I tried to reproduce it using my obviously lame graphics ability because I wasn’t quick enough on the draw with my digital photo-capturing ability at the time (I’m much quicker now).
This is how the backdrop graphic behind the anchor actually looked to me.
The topic was the possibility of a minority government. Hello.
