One of my mentors, Norman Podhoretz, has written another great essay. As regular readers know, whenever I point to a Norman Podhoretz essay, it means you should probably just print it out and read it offline when you’ve got a sizable block of time to spare because it’s not exactly regular newspaper column-length. In my case, it consumed 17 printed pages.
