Overheard in the liberals’ Globe & Mail division’s meeting room as editors gather over croissants and cheese to discuss their online polls: That ain’t liberal! Again! Citizens are so stupid! Don’t people read the Globe and Mail and listen to the state-run CBC anymore? Let’s do a five-parter on the evils of capitalist industry! Get us some more smoke-stack pics!
After that last poll embarrassment, and the one before that, and after reading the relevant story related to this poll, you’d think they’d ask a simple question like “Bunnies are so cute!; Do you agree or not?”, just to cheer themselves up. But no. (But watch for a five-parter on “The cuteness of Bunnies” in the coming weeks. And WAY more on “Bush’s Man-Made Global Warming” and “The End is Nigh”…)
