The socialist NDP government of Soviet Saskatchewanistan is embarrassed over one of their own big-socialist-government workers allegedly stealing something. Just when they were getting over NDP member of parliament Svend Robinson’s theft of a $50,000 ring for his boyfriend, this story of one of their workers stealing $1,000,000 (a million dollars) of taxpayer money for capitalist, materialist, non-state, unequal, self-satisfying purposes. That’s on top of all the other taxpayer money that the NDP is stealing from taxpayers. The report doesn’t mention anything about that though.
REGINA (CP) – A provincial government social worker fired earlier this month is being investigated in a case involving $1 million in missing government money, Community Resources Minister Joanne Crofford said Monday.
No charges have been laid against Evelyn Hynes, who worked in the Community Resources Department, but police raided her office, seized files and a computer, Crofford told a news conference.
The government has been dealing with alleged financial irregularities in two departments since late last month when it suspended two employees – one at Saskatchewan Environment and one at Community Resources – and referred what the cases to the RCMP.
