Nope!
I can assure you: the fact that Khadr is about to admit to his guilt does not impress many “Tories”, or any other progressives who generally think that Khadr is innocent even if he did kill a U.S. soldier (results vary according to how progressive and left and anti-American the subject is). It may well impress small-c CONSERVATIVES. But certainly not “TORIES”.
But moreover, the fact that Omar Khadr is reportedly about to admit his guilt is manifestly good as a general matter: not just for “Tories” or any political party or faction. Surely justice is what we all seek. Or is it in fact just conservatives?
So it’s a strange and rather oddly political — and an accusatory angle at that — for a newspaper to take and slap on their front page.
