PRIME MINISTER HARPER ANNOUNCES TWO APPOINTMENTS TO THE TAX COURT OF CANADA

Ottawa, OntarioPrime Minister Stephen Harper today announced the appointments of the Honourable Justice Gerald J. Rip as Chief Justice to the Tax Court of Canada and of the Honourable Justice Eugene P. Rossiter as Associate Chief Justice to the Tax Court of Canada.
Mr. Rip is replacing the Honourable Donald G.H. Bowman, the current Chief Justice, who is retiring. Mr. Rossiter replaces the Honourable Justice Gerald J. Rip who was the Associate Chief Justice.
These appointments are effective immediately.
And the laughter is also effective immediately. (And tax free!)
