My reading of Nanos poll: Liberal-left will win; Canada loves its Liberals and far-leftists

The latest Nanos Poll from Nanos Research (not to be confused with the one posted here yesterday), reveals that Liberals could very well win the next election in Canada —and that’s with the Liberal Frenchman as leader.  Just imagine if, say, Jack (“ass”) Layton was their leader!  Or anyone else, really.  They’d absolutely sweep the nation.

Nanos Poll:

Question: For those parties you would consider voting for federally, could you please rank your top two current local preferences? (Committed Voters Only – First Choice)

The numbers in parenthesis denotes the change from the previous Nanos Research Survey completed in November, 2007.

Canada (N=841, MoE ± 3.4%, 19 times out of 20)
Liberal Party 33% (-1)
Conservative Party 31% (-4)
NDP 19% (+2)
BQ 10% (+1)
Green Party 8% (+2)

Ontario (N=250, MoE ± 6.4%, 19 times out of 20)
Liberal Party 43% (NC)
Conservative Party 31% (-1)
NDP 19% (NC)
Green Party 7% (+1)

Quebec (N=217, MoE ± 6.7%, 19 times out of 20)
BQ 37%(+4)
Conservative Party 23% (-6)
Liberal Party 22% (-1)
NDP 12% (+1)
Green Party 6% (+3)

Question: As you may know, the Conservative Party led by Stephen Harper is a minority government. Based on what you know and have seen about Stephen Harper and the Conservative government’s record so far, would you be comfortable, somewhat comfortable, somewhat uncomfortable or uncomfortable with the Stephen Harper-led Conservatives potentially winning the next election and forming a majority government?

The numbers in parenthesis denotes the change from the previous Nanos Research Survey completed in April, 2007

Comfortable 29% (-4)
Somewhat comfortable 24% (+3)
Somewhat uncomfortable 17% (+2)
Uncomfortable 28% (+1)
Unsure 4% (NC)

Methodology
Polling between February 2nd and February 4th, 2008. (Random Telephone Survey of 1002 Canadians, 18 years of age and older). The Nanos Research Survey of 1,002 Canadians is accurate to within 3.1 percentage points, plus or minus, 19 times out of 20. The subset of committed voters is accurate to within 3.4 percentage points, plus or minus, 19 times out of 20

And ultimately, at some point, probably sooner rather than later, the media-supported you’ve got to be kidding party will be swept-up by the Liberal Party and their vortex of poll-driven pleasant-sounding bromides and vacuous nothingness, and the elections in Canada’s near future will be even more decisively left or perhaps far-left with that far-left party out of the way to split the left-wing vote.  I can actually, at this point, see a Canada that is thoroughly socialist or Communist.  For “progressives”, the “progress” never stops.  There’s no “exit strategy” in their “progressive” war.

Many of us will leave, and will see it from afar, and shake heads.  Few will notice they left.

Canadians have been well-trained by the liberals and their media and academia, and by the liberals who, over the decades, have been hired and appointed to cover most every facet of our Canadian lives.  Liberal-left governments have successfully created the ideal storm:  nearly every Canadian is now reliant to one degree or another—sometimes completely—on the state, and so Canadians vote for the parties that will continue to advance the big, growing teat of nanny-state left-wing government.  Canadians now answer poll questions, and vote, and act, the way they think they’re supposed to.  The way liberals have told them to.  Canadians are obedient. Very polite!

How quaint.  It’s working out just terrifically.

And by the way, conservatives, keep all that participation in the process.  You know, all the not speaking up, the constantly not debating the liberals all around you as they speak as though everyone in the room agrees with them; keep up with the not writing letters to the editor, and not calling out the liberal media on their overt bias and perfidy;  and do keep remaining silent and supporting the government and various useful idiots who support, in one way or another, the left-wing agenda-driven CBC and other such left-wing-promoting institutions; and continue to support, with your abject silence, your public schools and all the left-wing propaganda they teach our kids; and continue to say nothing about, say, the “Canadian value” of limitless abortions in Canada, or, say,  the “Canadian value” of gay marriage, and so on.

It’s just not polite to speak up about conservative values.  And your country isn’t worth it.  So please don’t.  Don’t fight!  We’re “peacekeepers!”  Just let ‘er slide. It’s the Canadian way.

The Liberals are, as they say, Canada’s “Natural Governing Party”.

I’ve got my passport.
