More from the pro-child-sex side

CNN.com covered the story about Canada’s Conservative government raising the age of sexual consent to 16 with a snippy headline, effectively mocking the seriousness of the matter in their Reuters article:

Canada: No sex please until we’re 16

…even while acknowledging that in most U.S. states, the age is at least 16 and sometimes as high as 18.

Then of course they brought out the real experts.  A spokesman from “Canadian Federation for Sexual Health”, which is what used to be known as the pro-abortion Planned Parenthood in Canada.  Planned Parenthood, as I see it, is liberal-left code for “abortion”, and in the U.S. they are the largest abortion mill operation in the land.  Spot some more of what I call liberal-left pro-abortion code in their statement:

However, some advocacy groups, including the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health, have already expressed concern about changing the law in this way.

The federation, formerly Planned Parenthood, has said there is no evidence that raising the age of consent will improve protection for young people, and warned it may discourage young people from seeking out birth control options or other assistance.

“Birth control options”, huh?  Don’t want to discourage that “choice”!

It seems to me it might just be possible that they’re upset the law may reduce yummy sex with and between teens—children, basically—and the inevitable followup abortions.  For these “sexual health” people, “sexual health” doesn’t include abstinence among the kids (and adult predators) from their beloved “risk free” monkey-sex trysts, notwithstanding the scientific proof as proven by actual smart as all-get-out scientists with degrees, that abstinence is a reasonably good birth control option and leads to “health” —sexual and otherwise.
