I don’t know if I’m more surprised that they printed this article in today’s liberal Obama-luvin’ Vancouver Sun, complete with a non-sunshine-y photo of their The Great Obama, or the fact that they admit in the article that Obama was on Fox News Channel, where he acknowledged that he “screwed up”.
“Obama+think+screwed” – STRANGE HISTORY REWRITE:
When you go to the online version of the story at the Vancouver Sun by searching for “Screwed up”, you’re directed to the story at this URL:
vancouversun.com/Obama+think+screwed/1251562/story.html
…but that page is totally blank. It seems they thought better of the headline and story and completely recast the story under the headline “Obama health nominee withdraws” with a totally different story —one which totally excludes the words “I screwed up”, and features a photo of Tom Daschle instead of a forlorn-looking The Great Obama.
“American+mistake+Obama” – ADDING INSULT TO INJURY?:
Maybe it’s because the Vancouver Sun has another article headlined: ‘Buy American’ a mistake: Obama (with the similarly funny URL of:
vancouversun.com/Business/American+mistake+Obama/1251155/story.html).
“Obamamania+hits+Rome+catwalks” – BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE! HE’S STILL STYLIN’!
In another of their slobbering Obama-luvin’ suckup stories (this one is number 8,498, I think), the Vancouver Sun features the huge photo and article (below) in their “STYLE” section, headlined: “Obamamania hits Rome’s catwalks” with the sub-head “U.S. president ‘a fashion icon’; his wife seen as a beacon of hope”. Oh my. Now his freaking WIFE is “a beacon” of “hope”.
And it finally presents the kind of URL they’re used to:
