Maybe this story isn’t really about extraterrestrials or aliens. Maybe it’s about the definition of marriage.
Close encounters of the supportive kind

Wednesday, December 22, 2004KELOWNA, B.C. (CP)—A woman who says she lost an hour of her life after an encounter with
aliens
gays has started a support group for those who have experienced similar
extraterrestrial abductions
examples of the Tyranny of the Minority.
Corrina Sables said she was compelled to start the group after she and a friend had a close encounter while star-gazing last year.
She said when her friend first pointed out the oddity, “I thought she was making a joke.
“Then the next thing she said was ‘Well, wait a minute. It’s changing.
This thing
Marriage is turning into a bright, neon-coloured and oval-shaped thing.’
“And at that point, I turned on the lights ahead of us just to check for animals. I thought she was still joking at this point. That’s when we saw five sets of eyes.”
Sables said in the days after the incident, she was terrified.
“I had a hard time dealing with it. So I decided to make the fear and the anger work for me and instead of being paralyzed by it, I started a support group.”
Sables said thousands of people across the world experience similar events and they have a lot to share with each other.
Anyone wanting to joint the group can contact Sables at [email withheld].
