Paul Martin connected to Saddam via Saddam investment

Marc, an avid participant in our Discussion Forum section, found another good point regarding the United Nation/Iraq Oil-For-Saddam-Palaces scandal, as the reports on that scandal are coming in again.

It’s quite a stunning and obviously impeachable revelation (for people living outside Liberalworld, Canada), especially when connected to the blog entry I made yesterday, here, where the Paul Volcker report makes the connection to prominent Liberal and Martin mentor, Maurice Strong.

We all know that Paul Martin likes collecting taxes but not paying them.  Now we learn, beyond being a tax avoider with his shipping racket, he is linked with criminal scumbags (outside of Canadian government, that is)…

Saddam invested one million dollars in Paul Martin-owned Cordex

The Canadian company that Saddam Hussein invested a million dollars in belonged to the Prime Minister of Canada, canadafreepress.com has discovered.

Cordex Petroleum Inc., launched with Saddam’s million by Prime Minister Paul Martin’s mentor Maurice Strong’s son Fred Strong, is listed among Martin’s assets to the Federal Ethics committee on November 4, 2003.

Among Martin’s Public Declaration of Declarable Assets are: “The Canada Steamship Lines Group Inc. (Montreal, Canada) 100 percent owned”; “Canada Steamship Lines Inc. (Montreal, Canada) 100 percent owned”—Cordex Petroleums Inc. (Alberta, Canada) 4.6 percent owned by the CSL Group Inc.”

I also found an excellent piece at the Wall Street Journal’s OpinionJournal.com which does a great job of explaining the latest news.  Be sure to read the accompanying excerpts in which another Canadian, the life-long Liberal-appointed state employee, Louise Frechette, is also mentioned.

If you want an idea of how huge this story is, simply imagine it being Stephen Harper and, say, Preston Manning, being the people involved—instead of Liberals.  Imagine how the liberal media and then, therefore, most Canadians—would be demanding, under no uncertain terms, their heads, and then demanding that all Conservatives answer for their perfidy.  You need to have an imagination in this country to get the proper perspective.
