Call me Betty. Or Stéphane.
Neighborhood Christmas party tonight. Had to make something to bring. Made a cheesecake. No, my wife did not help me. And I cleaned up after.
I made three sauces for it, but haven’t applied them to the thing yet as it must cool for 4 hours first: caramel sauce for one-third, blueberry sauce for another third, and lemon sauce for the other third. I will attempt application of said sauces after I get a tiny bit sauced on my rum and eggnog.
I’m not sure if anything happened while I was busy doing that. I had Fox News Channel on the whole time but no news really broke. I just checked Canada’s state-run media web site, and they are doing nothing new—still apologizing for everything liberal (see next blog entry, in which I feature their intrepid reporting about all the OTHER MPs aside from Stéphane Dion who hold dual citizenships, in their last minute Friday effort to pull “news” out of their backsides).
I will take a picture of my cheesecake and update this blog entry by posting it here:
…when it’s done.
OK! Here are the pictures! (I decided instead of “cheese”cake, I’d name it “Dioncake”.)
