Liberals win by-election in liberalville, Newfoundland

One can only imagine the utter revulsion people have for the Conservative Party, such that they vote instead for a party under investigation for the worst political corruption our nation has ever known.

That, together with the fact that in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, and in many other places, the Liberals have succeeded in getting the majority of people completely and unalterably hooked on welfare and various and sundry social programs and entitlements and subsidies, as provided by and promised by the liberal-left in Canada over the decades. The liberal plan’s working!

The federal Liberals reinforced their ranks by one MP on Tuesday, winning a critical byelection in Labrador that will boost the minority government’s chance of holding on to power in the months ahead.

[…] With about 90 per cent of the polls reporting, Russell held about 50 per cent of the vote while Letto had about 30 per cent.

The Liberal win means Prime Minister Paul Martin will have the edge in upcoming votes – and a firm say in the timing of the next general election.
