It’s a fun day today, what with Liberal Frenchman Stephane Dion suddenly pretending to be a big toughie as his party’s fortunes continue to fall apart around him, hopefully for a good twenty years or so.
The newly powerful (we’re to believe) Liberal Party leader, the Liberal Frenchman Stephane (”Super Guru”) Dion, and his ever-so-cohesive Liberal team will, if the Conservatives promise to dump their stupid “principles” and “values” and things, and behave like good little “progressives”, listen politely to Harper’s Throne Speech, we’re told today, after a Quebec caucus meeting.
But they warn Conservatives: If you Conservatives don’t adjust all of your Conservative policies to match our Liberal Party policies, then by golly, we’ll vote against the Throne Speech and then you watch out! Growl! We’ll force an election! We’ll invoke our “wow factor!” (actually said that—or something like that—me not being able to understand 98% of what he says on any given day). And we’ll finally, after all these many years and campaign cycles with the insider knowledge of former Progressive Conservatives Scott Brison and Belinda Stronach, reveal the infamous Hidden Agenda™Liberal Party Liars ! OK we won’t really, but we’ll sure talk about it a lot! Growl!
